About the Course
This is the first video in a series of videos exploring suicide prevention and special populations. This video explores culture as it relates to suicide prevention. Culture is defined and explored while also identifying the limiting view generalizations can have on specific populations. This video discusses four cultures and how specific tactics might be used to target individuals in each cultural category for the sake of preventing suicide. Suicide Prevention among military culture is also discussed with a focus on suicide risk factors, warning signs as well as resources.
This training is appropriate for all audiences over the age of 18.
